Basically this;Let them be mad. In 2.X we all went through these with their mechanics intact. Sure there were a few deaths but the entire point of the ilvl sync is to make a small attempt to keep the content relevant at all times and avoid power creep.
This power creep literally doesn't affect any other content except the CT raids because the Ilvl is within reason relative to the content.
The raids should always be tuned so the ilvl sync matches the gear they drop. That is to say, something like Crystal Tower should sync to iLVL 100 max.
Don't even need to adjust for the fact we have 3 less tanks and 3 more DPS than originally intended.

I don't even understand why it'd be ill-received to begin with. What if you're in a party that is absolutely not doing their best at all and you guys get to see the frog and icepick mechanic in Mateus? Or have the golem adds on Hashmal explode? A lot of people quit on the spot to this day. Just two days ago, people quit because they didn't press Surecast/Arm's Length on Deathgaze Hollow even when I pointed it out in chat. But not every player wants to leave. People leaving and quitting the raid, and making duty completion even harder than it already is for a lot of sprouts trying to go through it? That's also be ill-received. A lot of players got frustrated and are frustrated because the queues to do Ivalice and unlock Bozja are really long. I don't even know how long Dun Scaith or the NieR Raids are.
Like Deceptus said. Let them be mad. Get good. These raids are where devs test mechanics that end up showing up in the MSQ. Hashmal made everyone freak out, but no one bat an eye (kek) at Batsquatch when he used a worse version of the mechanic where it's harder to see the towers. Might as well learn about them earlier. So why is it that suddenly not having to care about mechanics is an indication of "good content"?

I would very much like to experience these mechanics firsthand. If the devs came out in a LL and stated that CT would be retuned to bring up to par with the newer raids in an upcoming patch, my excitement would be uncontainable.Let them be mad. ...then when I queue up in the roulette, I'll get tossed into anything but a CT raid. >.>
I hope someday they just go back and update the CT raids to make them actually a bit more fun. They don't have to make them Orbonne hard or anything, but even Prae/Castrum are at least somewhat interesting now even if they aren't hard. WoD is decent but ST/LoA is horrible. I wouldn't mind constantly getting the CT raids if they were at all mechanically interesting. I doubt they're even a good experience for a sprout as they'll be a down grade from the other updated level 50 content.
The main issue seems to be ilvl cheesers who just want a quick run for their daily, one way to fix that would be increasing the rewards of all other raids so even if the daily alliance raid roulette reward is big, joining some of the newer raids would have better overall rewards.
Nothing glorious about that, as someone who hasnt played it the FF series, the raid reminds me of only one thing, that disgusting dumb twink Ramza that hates and bullied the poor moogles, god I want him dead for his crimes against mooglekind
The tryhard elitist is the person who is going to finish their 5 pieces on this created to be beaten """"challenge"""" and then complaint that the baby, slower or less dexterous person are a problem which not only is toxic but indirectly implies that doing this basic created to be beaten task faster is an """achievement""" of """great skill""" which helps to falsely boost the elitist's self worth as that is their true motive, if challenge was truly their desire they would relish in the chance to do more than the rest.
The healthy person on the other hand will either let people finish their part or assist them for their self worth does not depend on solving basic puzzles created to be beaten, aka as a video game.
CT is barely even content. I'd much prefer to do Ivalice or Void series but then again, as long as SE allows mentors to manipulate ilvl to do the brain dead raid itll just continue to happen

The Warring Triad story gives more insight into the origins of the Void than the Mhach story, thanks to Unukalhai. But Zero recaps most of it anyway.
