Both kills and working with team, i just think we should have something that encourages better individual skill. So, what is more important, working with your team, or focussing on your kills? I'm just asking because you mention the word "shame". I'll look at stats, but in a different way - I take the jobs into consideration, so I will see how I compare to similar jobs in my category, and see if I held up, considering the rest of my team. I I did my bet, but was a bit lower in assists, heals , damage- well try to focus better next time.
If a match went sideways - I'll also look at outliers- I have seen someone in FL with a high number of deaths and absolutely zero(0) player damage and some heals. Hmmm. OK, now I don't care why someone queues (tomes, EXP, whatever) but I would say that "shame" might be appropriate there.
yeah i get why people would think this but again, i think theres more pros then cons to be had here by having more Statistics like KDA on our PVP profile aside from win ratio. We'll probably never get an official KDA on Frontline or win% on competitive for the same reason we can't have the abacus adjacent water wings for pve. In the end negativity or perceived likelihood of it will keep us from getting things like this and it's a damn shame. I for one would love to have a gat-danged replay to see what part of the glowing pixels killed me in some of the more intense engagements. But that too could be used for harassment so kay sera~.
I don't think any player would disagree with access to more stats except the people in those situations. I would love them to be honest.
Having the K/D/A ratio alone would probably push people more into hounding for kills rather than actually playing for the objective so that's not the best solution imo. I've seen that happen in LoL a lot in ARAMs (game mode literally nobody even cares about). Having a documented match history of some kind would be the best solution imo. Just like a list of the last 20 games played, both ranked and casual, definitely with some notation.
Like i said earlier in the thread, Theres more pros then cons to it so theres no reason to not have your KDA displayed in your PVP for people to see, hells it may even encourage better individual skill.Having the K/D/A ratio alone would probably push people more into hounding for kills rather than actually playing for the objective so that's not the best solution imo. While I'd find statistics good to have to see how you perform, a few pointers to make the data more reliable:
1.) The statistics should be separated per job. This is kind of self-explanatory, different jobs like Paladin or Scholar will naturally gravitate to higher assists than kills, which may muddle performance when mixed with jobs that have a higher kill potential based on their kit.
2.) The statistics should be based in a specific timeframe / amount of matches. At least a split between "Weekly performance" and "All-time performance", that way you can keep track how you recently performed without feeling guilty over early bad performances.
This is a personal thing, but I'd love some way to track match statistics for the last five matches played (with names of other players hidden/initialized) since we don't have access to a replay system.
this actually sounds good, i hope they implement thisWhile I'd find statistics good to have to see how you perform, a few pointers to make the data more reliable:

I see this feature a lot in fighting games. Separate W/L ratio, separate rank based on the character, plus another separate rank for online matches. I'm surprised that you have a feature like this for years and SE won't take ideas from them and apply it to this game. I can just imagine ppl are encourged to play different jobs not only for achievements, but the accomplishments of how much time and effort they play that content. You pretty much getting the prestige and ppl will come to you for advice of how to be a good player based on that particular job due to how much time you play it, K/D/A ratio, etc. While I'd find statistics good to have to see how you perform, a few pointers to make the data more reliable:
