    Implement Feast ranking System for CC

    Putting aside all other issues with CC, the ranking system itself does not hold a candle to the Feast ranking system. The current system is a weird two part system roiled into one with no promos and thin lines between promoting and demoting tiers.

    If crystal rank is kept, we would have to modify it a bit for how many points a person would lose on average per tier. In Feast it was -5 on bronze loss, -10 on silver loss, -15 on gold loss, -20 on plat loss, and finally -25 on diamond loss. It could simply be shifted, so bronze loses no points and every other tier loses 5 points less. Crystal promos would start at 2500.

    Note for those that did not play Feast:

    We used to earn on average 25 points per win. When you hit certain thresholds, you entered promos. If you won 3 of the next 5 games, you were promoted to the next tier with your points still going up and down throughout the process. To demote, you would have to fall 100 points below that promotional threshold. For example Gold promos were at 1000 points. If a player achieved gold but fell below 900 at a later time, they would demote. In addition, no player could go above 100 points of a threshold point without successfully completing promos.

    Thats not going to solve anything.

    It would, because it will slow down the progression in mid to high tiers making luck less of a factor in both promoting and demoting.

    don't get me wrong, i agree with you but it would not objectively solve anything because you will continue to get people from bronze and gold if you are a silver rank. Honestly they should bring feast back but have the current Damage system since its super easy to go and murder somebody on your own.

    EDIT:If you don't understand what i mean, im saying that they need to rip all the stuff out from current ranked/unranked gameplay except the damage delt/received and just put feast back since the current system would support a deathmatch better then a *Push the payload* type of gameplay.

    Feast had its own serious flaws, including the role issues, which stifled queues all the time. The medal system was also atrocious.

    mm system has role issues aswell, matching 2 phys range 1 melee vs 2 melee 1 phys range and making game a dice roll hoping 2 melee team play bad

    which wouldn't necessarily be an improvement, since deathmatch isn't necessarily everyone's preferred style of PVP. Objective - based (e.g. capture the flag) can be more interesting than 1v1 or last man standing, not to say that 1v1s won't occur in CC - but I would rather not give up entirely on the concept of the "push the payload" type match.

    then there should be more verity to CC lol not everybody wants to play *push the payload* not everybody wants to do *deathmatch* thats another issue i have with current pvp is that theres not enough Verity.
