Idea for Player housing and Beastmaster

A friend and I were talking yesterday and thought of a pretty neat idea for housing involving Beastmaster if/when it gets implemented. Our idea was that after using a tamed enemy for a certain amount of time, be it number of kills, xp gained, whatever, the enemy would start to like you and show up at your home after dismissing it (and you didn't kill it afterward ). Rather than being a battle pet (since I believe the devs said a while back that they wanted Beastmasters to work solely with enemies out in the field instead of calling monsters) they could just be house pets that you could keep or sell/give to other players.

This could become something of an activity of its own. Players could try and collect all the different variations of beasts. There could even be rare variations that spawn in certain locations or in certain times of the year. There could be breeding so you can mix and match the different variations to make some unique looking creatures.

It would be neat to have stuff like a guard wolf or a marmot running around in your house

Cross-breeding would put too much demand on the designers if you ask me, but I think this is a neat idea. I'd also like to see an in-game personal bestiary, a bit like the one in XIII, and having a pet around to study could add a lot to that.
