However, the fact that he can't name a single thing that he likes about it is ... sad, and somewhat telling, in my opinion. It reminds me of cooking simulator on steam. I've clocked about 20 minutes into that game. I've played it. But if you asked me what my favorite part about it was, I wouldn't be able to give you a straight answer because even though I technically objectively played it, I never really sank my teeth into it or anything.
People who were disappointed with island sanctuary might look at this article and feel... something. I didn't expect it to be good because I'm a pessimistic asshole, but I also don't expect Yoshi to personally nolife everything this game has to offer. To me, this news isn't infuriating or anything. But I think some people who were craving island sanctuary and were then let down by it, are definitely going to look at this article and feel like maybe island sanctuary could've gotten the blm treatment if yoshi had actually sank his teeth into it and played it more. Whether or not that's an accurate assessment, no one can say. But it is what it is.
I love threads like these and really don't see why people get so pissed about them. Every time this guy with the car signature makes a thread criticizing the game, people come out mad as hell at him and calling him a troll, like he just personally spat on their grandmother. Personally, I don't feel trolled. But I also don't pretend that gaming studios are my friends, so.
