Anyone who has seen how beast races work in other games knows that they can have more than a mere two hairstyles per face by default – this isn’t something that players should have had to wait for fixes for, they should have released in the proper state from the beginning. Time will tell what happens with female Hrothgar, but the graphics update has more to do with texture upgrades than significant changes to 3d models or character creation.
As for Egi Glamours, after their initial release there was total silence for the better part of a decade until the class reached its breaking point in Shadowbringers with too many people angry at it for different reasons, culminating in a rework. That still has us summoning the same 3 fire/wind/earth primals with a toolkit more reduced than a level 20 FFXI SMN who by that point can summon most of that game’s pantheon. They didn’t “listen” until the problem was too big to ignore. Much like with the Viera/Hrothgar situation.
I’m not about to recount all the issues that 6.0 had – anyone whose interested in that discussion knows where to look in threads dedicated to that purpose. As of now there is no widely available private Housing, apartments do not satisfy those who want more than a room to decorate and especially not anyone who wants to be able to customize the outdoors to their liking in the biome of their choice – features that are currently absent from Island Sanctuary with no definite timeline as to when outdoor furnishing placement will be added as per the latest Live Letter. It’s a state of affairs so bad that adding the lottery was an improvement, at least until “The Winning Number is 0!” showed up on people’s screens. People who have excesses of gil to buy smalls 3 times over still can’t get a guaranteed home – with actual housing still being superior to Island Sanctuary in many aspects.
