What does YoshiP's playing or not of Island Sanctuary on his personal account have to do with how good or bad a patch is or what direction quality wise the game is going in?

Every aspect of the game doesn't have to appeal to YoshiP for it to be added to the account and it may just not be something that he finds too terribly interesting so he hasn't done it on his personal account.

His answer to the question isn't one that is affected by his not having played the mode either.

I'd like to believe that Yoshi could base the success of something on statistics or other objective methods. Maybe the number of subs ticked up? Maybe there are many more logins than usual.

Right. But that doesn't mean because a chef has to eat everything they make if they work at a restaurant. Nor does what a chef eats off the menu at their own restaurant have any impact on the success of the restaurant. I highly doubt any chef of any restaurant goes through and eats everything on the menu of where they work on a regular basis (over the course of several days, not all at once).

OP's trying to say that because YoshiP hasn't played Island Sanctuary on his personal account that it's somehow usable as proof that the patch wasn't successful.

Why are you taking the quote out of context? He said he didn't play it "on [his] personal account." That's not the same as not playing it. He plays it for work, but he doesn't play it on his personal time. That's OK. I, for one, applaud the fact that he's still willing to green light content that doesn't personally appeal to him. I wish the Blizzard devs had that same level of empathy towards players who aren't hardcore raiders. I've seen other interviews where YoshiP straight up says that he can't make the game for himself because he's too hardcore a player. If anything, you should be glad that he doesn't subject the game to his whims the way the OP claims he does.

I rarely agree with the OP, and think they should strongly reconsider their game of choice, considering the amount of frustration and issue they seem to have this game, and with such frequency.

That said, they usually at least bring up good points, but this thread isn't one of them. Having not played Island Sanctuary on their personal account doesn't mean they aren't intimately familiar with the island.

You can design a car for amazing specifications but if the ride is uncomfortable as sh!t people will complain.

You literally said that you pay for the subscription and that it's all it allows people to do with it and that they have no right to complaint about it because it's not part of the sub, then I had to correct you that the fantasia is a fully paid service and that a decent preview options should be provided as it's a paid service.

I see we're still lying. Quote where I said folks have no right to complain about it due to it not being part of the sub? I said iirc we aren't entitled to extras. Hell I even stated changed can be made and even admitted hair is something you have no way to check. Yet...I apparently defend the game at any cost.
