Lolol I saw this and was like: THIS THREAD IS STILL GOING?!
Ironically the OP doesnt visit his own thread anymore. Maybe perhaps he finally quit FFXIV for New World?
Could it possibly be that the OP doesn't visit this thread anymore because it was dead for about a month before someone bumped it in an attempt to bait people into arguing over it? (ironically by calling the thread itself bait, talk about projection)

Not sure how posting in a month old thread counts as necromancy. Isn't that better than starting a new thread on the same topic?
Anyways, necromancy is fun. Mom always told me to make new friends.

You don’t see how:
Which adds nothing, replies to nothing, and has no purpose…is not necromancy?
…for reference, see this thread:
https://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/...yer-yet/page37
While I am suspicious of this new post, months later by a new member with that being their first/only post..it at least is a thoughtful response and may be someone who just wants to share their opinion on the topic.
I give that one the benefit of the doubt, this…eh not so much.

Oh hey, youre still here.
...goody...
And so are you. A shame.
Some people get way too attached to the game, beyond just simply loving it, and perceive criticism of it to be attacks against themselves. They can't understand that people criticizing the game's flaws tend to do so because they love it enough to give it some tough love when it needs it.

tbh you also have people who are attached to the game and simply point to a couple negatives that they want to see polished but still get called crap anyway. Some threads are honestly pretty tame, but then devolve because people start taking it too poorly. That, or they see a valid complaint be agreed upon too much and feel like such a thing is unacceptable. Some people get way too attached to the game, beyond just simply loving it, and perceive criticism of it to be attacks against themselves. Yoshida probably does not play any class other than black mage much. Maybe he will touch monk like for half an hour and that's it. There's a reason BLM still retains its complexity with transpose lines but every other class is just braindead.
Not much to say given that the interview excerpt above speaks for itself. Island Sanctuary, the state of other classes nowadays and the limited races throughout Shadowbringers - all subject to the whims of one individual. But not for the game's benefit.
