I dont doubt he works hard, crunch is a industry wide problem aswell. The issue is direction. If you work yourself into a corner (like if you were for example working with ancient tech, say the hollow shell of a previous MMO as foundation) then your hard work might just be wasted. If you get a constant push with unreasonable time frames from greedy execs to only ship minimum viable products your hard work is going to be wasted. If you lack direction, you are wasting the hard work of the people working under you.

Tbh, this person has a point. I honestly thing what they've done to Blue Mage is a travesty, Sage is only familiar to the FF by name because it doesn't play how it does in other Final Fantasies. Also, WE NEED a dedicated healer tester or player in that group. I heard that some of them didn't even want to create the healer role quest in Shadowbringers. There needs to be a balance. Yoshi P is great and all, but there are some valid points being made.

The more he says stuff like that the more my patience and goodwill drops. This applies to a lot more than just story content, but it's a phrase long overused when it comes to the basic features people have asked for over the years like Limited Race hairstyles/facial hair/etc. There are a number of comments he made during that stream that are worthy of their own threads but for the time being even I need a break.

The perception of him being out of touch didn't change after all was said and done, that much I'll say.

How is a writer responsible for hairstyles and facial hair? This was based on something Oda said, not Yoshi-P.
