Additional unique Viera/Hrothgar hairstyles, additional egi-glamours, and an epic conclusion to the Hydaelyn/Zodiark saga. Not to mention that we were told we were never getting private housing and we did. (Not that I have a problem with that particular one)

For the hairstyles it really sucks for those race players i totally agree, yesterday i created a hrothgar and well it's plenty nothing, but maybe we get with the graphic updates more styles but we can't really know that. Maybe they're in trouble for fem Hrothgars and wait for those updates now to get that fixed aswell, but just my speculation.

Additional egi glamours... hmmm now Summoner got a whole rework and that's why they didn't implement more, but didn't see or can't remember he told us that we get addional egi glams, cause of the whole rework.

Guess for the Arc ending, for me it was really epic, but you could tell me what wasn't epic, early Mr. Z.?

And well we got private housing like you mentioned.

Some stuff is really subjective for you the Story was underwhelming, for me it was a Triple A Cinematic

And yet it reeks of a low budget. We didn't even get to see the fight between Zodiark and Hydaelyn, nor the sundering itself. Which you know, is kinda important in the finale of the Hydaelyn and Zodiark arc. All we got was people standing in circles talking to each other.

He got "revived" in an early state and wasn't a danger for us, but i see what you mean and yeah would be really epic to see them fight, but don't think how the story lead us isn't that bad, but just only my Opinion, and i guess we run in circles if we discuss that now

Is this how playing through NieR Automata's dodgeball sections feels like?

This game is in sore need of a red T-shirt Blizzcon guy moment. The "relaxed living" content that was supposed to sustain so far while battle content stagnates has been about as engaging as a McDonald's kiosk machine. I'm not saying stuff like this because I hate FFXIV or want to see it fail, I want for the obvious problems we're facing to be resolved. It sure would be nice if the director running this show were a bit more clued in on them.

Listen, I'm all up for this community being nicer than most. And there's a lot of respect between the majority of the community and its dev team. Posts and forums like these really won't work, as they haven't in the past 4+ years (I'm counting since BLU's release).

They need a wake up call. Yes the game's great, yes there's worse, but there's always the chance for it to be better. Why grow complacent and let that quality dip? Why be so okay with empty answers and lame apologies? "Because the devs aren't lazy"? They are, they've been for a while now and it's only gotten more and more noticeable. Because, paraphrasing Raobaholic's post a while ago: We lost job quests. We lost a dungeon. Time between patches is larger now. What's being done with that time? What have we, the players, gained from that?

And as nice as we may be, I do think if they ever make another public live letter event, someone should ask them "what the hell?". They're probably gonna get leered at from every corner in the room, but at least they'd make it clear to SE: they're burning through the goodwill they've built up on the past years with a lot of players, fast, in the span of one single expansion.

God forbid people wonder if the OP has actually done some content seeing as they're on an alt here. I wouldn't be pissed if someone questioned my credentials based on my character here as it has nothing above 90. I wouldn't feel attacked if folks did that cause it's fair. I never said folks who agree with him are alts, I pointed out that some people always hop in to defend every take of his (just as yall point out some hop in to refute every point of his).

Unmature aswell to state that Producer/Director didn't play this content cause it isn't fun, we don't know anything about what he's doing meanwhile, he got 14, and 16. In an interview he said he want to build a new mmo, maybe he's involved for the new one aswell? Who knows?
