Pissed as hell with the server instability!

I was so close to clearing solo on HOH, and then suddenly around 6AM EST the Byrnhildr Server starting have BULL**** ISSUES, and was DCing people left and right including myself!

I'M PISSED AS ALL HELL AS I'VE BEEN TRYING FOR WEEKS TO CLEAR HOH ONCE AND FOR ALL AND SUDDENLY I'M PUNISHED FOR IT! T The way structured POTD and HOH to give a KO upon logging off sure makes me feel good inside! NOT!

Damn it all! HOH Taunting me like this, and now the server is taunting me. HOLY ****.

I apologize to the forum as I don't normally get like this, when you have been trying and analyzing HOH for so long, and this happens I'm gonna lose my mind over it, its just a slap in the face.

I wanted to vent on the forums to express my frustration to whoever works the servers because if these incidents have not been fixed from back in the beginning launch of Endwalker then what is going on?

I shouldn't get mad at Yoshi P for the server, but he and his team really need to rethink that penalty for POTD and HOH when is beyond the player's control.

All I know is...I can't wait till I get my room hooked up with an Internet cable. I had to rely on wifi connection all this time and getting sick and tired of the minor lag hiccups I experienced.

Learned my lesson, always make sure to play this game with wired Ethernet.

This is one of the reasons the KO-by-log-off structure for certain duties has always been incredibly stupid IMO.

I understand the frustration but it's still just a game. Hopefully you get your progress rebuilt quickly.

In the meantime on Mateus, we had been joking about Agrippa being left alone in Mor Dhona because there had been several other S rank spawns on the data center at the same time. Someone suggested we should leave him alone because if we tried to attack Agrippa the Mightier might appear to make something bad might happen. We laughed, attacked... and the servers crashed.

Likely wasn't the servers at all and one of the frequent instances of a major ISP network just doing what they do in the US and sucking.

That sucks. I knew someone who had that happen to him, and he didn't log on afterwards for like 4 days. Fairly certain it wasn't his net too, since we all got the boot from XIV and the login queue was huge.
Anyway, at least you don't play on balmung. This thread would be full of people saying you deserved to be kicked for, uhh, *checks notes* playing on a popular server.
