The only thing I'm able to picture is Sadu eating eating both coffee biscuits in front of him and then laughing about it before walking away.I'm just imagining Magnai wanting to buy his favourite coffee biscuit, but they're sold out. And then Sadu is there, holding TWO coffee biscuits, and she's like "I was only going to buy one, but when I saw they were almost gone I got an extra because I know your slow, lazy butt would never get here in time. I GUESS you can have this one. But don't get the wrong idea, it's not like I like you or anything!!"
I think we're due to pay the steppe a visit in the Tataru quests, so perhaps there will be some development in that regard.
I really would like someone to just completely tear into him at some point given that everyone in his tribe knows he has the totally wrong perspective on how the whole "finding your Nhaama" thing works, but are probably too afraid to correct him.
I offered to be his rolanberry.
He didn't answer.
He will never find his Nhaama.
Just to amuse myself, I talked to Magnai to see what his current dialogue is. Spoiler tagged for EW references.
Magnai: At the command of the Mol, we Oronir gathered many sacred relics. I trust we have your undying gratitude, yes?
Magnai: But rather than your thanks, I would rather hear tales of your journey. Is it true you traveled to the moon?
Magnai: Indeed, such great feats are only spoken of in legend. To think that you have set foot on the celestial orb created by the Dusk Mother herself fills me with envy and awe...but mostly envy. Tell me, were there any womenfolk there?
Then there was Sadu:
Sadu: Bwahahaha! Truly, you have the look of one who has fought a great battle, and lived to tell the tale!
Sadu: We Dotharl take heart that such worthy opponents can yet be found, even if they lie at heavens' edge. In preparation for such a foe, we will train more diligently than ever before.
Sadu: Since your journey to distant stars, that preening fool Magnai has done naught but stare at the moon. I know not what thoughts go through that ugly head, nor do I much care, but it bothers me all the same.
