Idk. I just LB when I feel like it in dungeons. Most others so that touch it ril the last boss is 2% anyways (ie pointless). I'm not worried about a loss of dps in content where that basically doesn't matter

I save myself for LB3.
Lesser LBs do not satisfy me![]()
Honestly LB1 and 2's are not really worth the time anymore. I'd rather a ranged use them on trash pulls in dungeons, especially given how easy dungeons are now. Its a dps loss half the time anyways on a boss unless its a LB3 obviously and in dungeons the boss is usually nearly dead right before a LB2 even chimes.
I recently discovered that if a player DCs in an alliance raid, you will lose any gauge that has been built up if the player returns, or a new player joins and the team is engaged with a boss. So if you're ever fighting a boss in an alliance raid, and someone DCs, burn that gauge asap.
There's a lot of players that don't know about limitbreak because its action key is hiding away in the general actions tab. I know at least 2 friends that had to be told this after they asked how to use LB. It should really be slapped into role actions or even job actions.

Reprisal
Feint
Addle
Swiftcast
Surecast
Arm's Length
Also the same players that don't even do content that requires LB
One of the biggest problems I've been encountering how slow Limit Break takes to build in all non pre-formed content. From the stat squish and gear bloat lately LB2 isn't even built until the boss is sub 5%. No matter what DPS I am, I'm not going to LB2 a boss at that time, I'll stick to my groove and kill the boss in what is probably only a few seconds longer depending on what mechanics are going on. Absolutely no boss is worth a LB1 unless it's to pull the boss with ranged LB1.
In times which you're just given LB3 I'm normally fighting someone to use it, such as in Aglaia's final boss. I still think that the bigger part of the issue is the rarity in which Limit Break is actually available for use, the fact that it's a party resource and the negligible effect it normally has outside of LB3.
