I had a healer lb3 in P8N because they didn't want to res the two dead DPS. Six thousand three hundred and twenty five hours and that's the lowest amount of dead players it's been used on.

Lol, in most cases LB1 is a DPS loss. More often than not it comes down to the boss being low enough it doesn't matter for LB2
I mostly play magic DPS in roulettes. I'm not popping the LB if there's a melee DPS in the party. And I won't pop it on a boss as my LB is a DPS loss. I will pop on a W2W trash pull, if there are no melee DPS in the party.
Don't do that, Casters get first dibs on LB in dungeons regardless of team comp since their's does more damage than Ranged and is easier to aim at a pack of mobs, followed by Ranged, then Melee should only use it on the final boss
and LBs generally aren't DPS losses unless you do them in the middle of a burst phase (or if you're single target SMN/SAM and the animation lock completely fucks up your rotation and filler GCDs or whatever)
additionally, if you have any LB charged up and you know the next boss will reset it (mostly alliance raids) then as a Caster or Ranged you have no real excuse for not trying to pull with it
p.s Caster/Ranged LB1 does more damage than Melee LB3 at 6 targets
You can always give unsolicited advice, it's always morally correct
I was dpsing orbonne the other day. We got LB3 at the last boss. I was all set to use it, but then like 4 people died to aoes, including a healer, so I held off because I just assumed the healer would use it to bring our group back without Weakness. But the healer didn't use it. Instead he started slowressing the co-healer, but that got interrupted by the maze mechanic (which we probably would have skipped if I'd used Lb3; he was on the edge of 15%.), and even when the healer made it to safety, he still didn't LB3, so at that point I just did it.
Saying this as someone who plays just about everything: it's annoying when a dps doesn't lb, but it's absolutely awful when a healer doesn't have it bound. Please ffs bind that shit and use it. Bringing back 4 people from the dead immediately without weakness debuff is such a boon to the group compared to saving it for a single hit that's gonna lob off like 3% at best.
Alisaie would like to know their locations.
*Sees Alisaie use a fully-charged LB when it's up again. And be one of the people to actually use the LB to do damage worth it.

LBs should only be used for verblind. Any uses which don't obliterate the retinas of all involved parties are a waste.
*waits until the boss is less than 0.5%*
*burns LB*
*boss dies*
Got it~!
