    Was the base accessible to the enemy ? (Meaning that one tower was destroyed)

    If not, that's an abuse.

    Until I've been told officially, as far as I'm concerned it's still an exploit. Lack of forward planning by the developer, or something missed by a QA doesn't always mean it was intended as a 'feature'

    Although that isn't also saying it wasn't missed and is now a feature
