What new mounts would you like to see in the game?

More normal mounts that are just monsters or animals used for riding. Also mounts that are big enough that they wouldn't collapse under your character's weight realistically. I don't wanna have to constantly use gravity magic to make the mount able to carry me, I'd just fly myself. I don't want more extra fancy, legendary, glowy, silly or cutesy mounts in the game either. Weirdly enough some of the most normal mounts in the game are the t-rex and the Vivre. That's not good. We don't even get the normal horses or lanners that they use in othard, we have the glowy supernatural versions which don't blend well into the environment. They make sense for the warrior of light, but sometimes I just like to be a badass adventurer.







More color variations would actually be a great thing too! Because mounts are for character expression.

Just a regular old horse. We ride one in the namazu quests, so the animations are there. Just not in the game. Oddly enough, I rather spend 50m on a default colour horse than a mount made of gold.

Same thing with falcons. Give me just a normal falcon mount. The lanners are close but I really don't like glowing mounts.

The lvl 50 extreme trials have plenty of regular horses. And yes, most of them have a little glow. But due to all the variations i dont want to see more of these. For extra shiny we got ixion (and a bit less shiny is the fire variant - which to me actualy misses some fire particles).

But as someone who played a lot of ff10, im still missing some of the aeons from that as a mount. Especialy ifrit (you sit on the shoulder during the summoning cutscene which makes it very suitable as a mount).

What a statement to make . No they really don't. Those horses are special, all of them have a lot of glow, you use them to stand out. Normal mounts are very different.

The Garlean Novus-D car (maybe have it as a convertable prototype that is able to fly and travel underwater that never saw production).

given Grani is confirmed to be Emet's mount, and Argos was Venat's, I wonder then if Azem had one too, and thus, given the WoL is Azem's modern incarnation,

maybe we can have 'Azem's personal mount' accordingly? (As for what that could be, I have no idea - I discount Arion as that's stated as being a 'divine steed').

More tiger mounts... two is not enough... and more options, it could be nice if we could use other mounts as a sidekick the same way as the chocobo... would love to unleash a tiger against some poor mobs

Keep it up team, love the natural looking actual mounts that people would use!

Would have done well with a saddle tho, let's face it.
