I would like to petition for a focus on reward good teamwork / linkshell play rather than rewarding a single person with nice gear. As it is right now:
1)Relic, have to decide who will get relics first and screw everyone else over or decide that everyone will get a relic which will take a long long time.
2)Darklight droprates, again, only for one person, 7 other people farming with you. Yes everyone gets a chance but in the end only one person benefits from the drop.
As a linkshell leader, I try to make the linkshell stronger, but what I notice is that people eventually leave the game, we lose DL's, lose the time that we spent on them, etc etc.
I would like SE to think about ways to maybe reward groups of players and for good teamwork instead of the few. I really don't like knowing that there will be a part of my linkshell that will either never get a relic or will take a year to get one if they ever will.
If we can get some rewards that benefit shells like maybe +5% hp for all LS members, etc etc instead of a single item for a single person, I think that will help build a stronger community. (Which is very important for an MMO, as this is not a singleplayer game).
**just want to say, I don't have exact detailed ideas for this, but I just want to put the theory behind it.
SE, please drop the focus on epeen items, I think they are important to have, but I think there also needs to be more group-based rewards and giving incentive for teamwork and cooperative play.
