Allow us to test different races without using Fantasia

You shouldn't have to make an alt to test something like voice that should be fully displayed in the character creation to begin with. This isn't even a fantasia issue at this point. A new person coming to the game isn't generally going to think "I should test these voices on throw away characters before I make my character". The character creation voice preview is BAD and should absolutely be improved. You shouldn't have to make a new character or look up out of game resources to test an INTEGRAL PART OF YOUR CHARACTER.

I agree the character creator could be improved. If the voice preview category were just the emote list that would be great. But I don't design video games and for all I know there's a technical reason why that isn't the case. Until the day that changes it's not difficult at all to accomplish the same thing by other means.

Well... they should at the very least give you like a 24hr period to change your character after initial creation or after using fantasia that I can for sure see.

The average totally new player is probably level 10 or less within 24 hours. You also get a free fanta after ARR.

I see where you're coming from on the latter point but that would effectively be giving people a free fanta if they chose to abuse it by switching again at the last second. Yes you're buying the first one but not the second to change back into your original race or something else. You could make a justifiable argument that people should be able to do that anyway but that's money left on the table for SE and thus unlikely to ever happen.
