imagine making the biggest seller on mogstation freeHilarious how people are ready to defend this absolutely terrible preview system by saying "Just make an alt, just do this, just do that"
Sure.
Make using fantasias free then, we are paying for a service when we pay for a fantasia, why are we mixing up the sub payment and the service payment for fantasia ? You DO pay for the fantasia service to have the right to change your appearance and all other options, you should have decent previewing options included in the game, saying "Go on youtube, make an alt one at a time per voice and test the voices" is not a solution, it's a way to defend Square's laziness, you arent going to get anything free because you defend them, I promise you.
If we have to start doing research outside of the game, or create a million alts to see what we want to make, and actually put "effort" into it, while the service is paid, then make it free.

Alternative idea- allow us to make a character and bring it into a sort of "green-screen" room, where you can walk around, swing a weapon and do emotes before continuing. And allow adjusting the character within the green-room freely. Can you allow us to try different races at our bed in the Inn? There has been so many times that I used a Fantasia and instantly regretted it after trying on all my various glamours. Then I don't want to blow another $10 instantly, and I tend to lose interest in logging in.
Thanks.
Alternatively, allow us to load any made character into such a space as alternative to logging in.
They are not alternatives they are the only option as the in game previewing system is atrocious, and it's not right.
It's better stance than defending a cash shop in a game that charges monthly, lmao.
How do you test non-base emotes that you have to unlock/buy from the mogstation? What about hair styles? Making an alt is NOT a passable alternative, and having to put that much effort into making a character for just the voices alone is bad. A new player isn't going to be aware the voice previews are terrible, they're generally not going to make a dozen different characters to figure out what they want as they are wanting to actually get into the game and play.
Just go female Lalafell, voice #4 and never worry about fantasias again.
"Alternatives" exist that people can use, but I'm not really sure how this somehow cancels out wanting a better "alternative" being put in by the developers, who, after all these years, added a mogstation shop outfit preview (albeit in a really awkward way that really shows how duct-taped together and horrendous this game engine is).
Once more, PC users are lightyears ahead in this QoL department, able to use a certain forbidden tool to freely preview absolutely anything instantly.
