People in this mmo can be extraordinarily petty, sorry about that. Is voice 5 the distinctive 'whoop, whoop' I hear infrequently on melee hitters? Rare to hear it in the wild these days.

I think it sounds off more when you're playing ranged dps. I don't remember the sound it makes but it infuriates people apparently.

But I actually had no idea the voice was that annoying when I picked it. I don't really remember putting too much thought into the voice selection. I probably thought it sounded alright but not only do I regret it if I ever choose to play with the voices on, but I also sometimes run into people that give me trouble for it.

I've had someone openly admit to rescueing me off the edge of a fight and refuse to res me after all over it.

That's a horrible reason to grief someone though. Yeah I find the voice annoying but not near enough to make things harder on them.

Oh yeah you mean for battle voices? It's so jarring to rely on the limited sample voice grunts in the creator when you think you picked a good voice tone for your character only to be immediately turned off by how they yell and grunt during combat.

Thankfully there's a YT channel that goes over all those voice types in combat but I would love for those samples to be in the creator in-game.

Yeah thankfully I lucked out with my hroth's voice, but there are some I never hear and then there's one that I nicknamed the creeper voice.

CC voice: deep, scruffy, manly voice

ingame voice: high pitched hyaaagh!

There's a Hrothgar voice....4 or 5 I think, that's a straight up murloc. I'm sure it's their equivalent of the old Viera granny voice (RIP granny) that nobody bothered fixing.

My solution for that is to just turn it off. I also have incoming voice and performance turned off to avoid the noises other players keep making when I need to go to Limsa.

Yeah just create and alt level it to 90 , buy all the costumes/emotes/hairstyles from MB/Mog sounds very logic.
