Freezes (black screens) on startup while on DirectX 11

So I've used Direct 11 for awhile now and suddenly it just started freezing on startup. I've tried a ton of different things to fix it but nothing has worked so far. After switching to 9 it works but runs like a potato so I'm still privy to finding a solution. It randomly started working for a couple hours 2 days ago but I haven't gotten working again since

Its a known issue currently for some steam users, myself included. SE taking my money for a game a caint even play, frustrated to say the least.

Same problem here, im steam user that problem start after big patch 6.2 and SE dont give a shit about this not even moderators, at this forum 1 more post with 17000 views who write about this problem 1 month now and no one try do something from SE for fix this so i guess English Support Forum are dead so unprofessional from a game with subscription i can pay from my steam but i cant play from that

Could you provide a system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display. When the crash happens, is the PC over heating at all?
Were any update or changes made to the PC at the time of the crash? Does this crash occur if the game is run in full screen mode? Does it happen in borderless or windowed mode?

Sucks even more since I'm not using the steam version

The PC does not seem to be overheating at all, and no updates were made to the PC during that time. The crash is currently occurring in windowed mode but I can try going back to directX9 and switching the modes around and see if that helps

Edit: After switching to direct 9 and changing the screen it still doesn't work, in fact DirectX 11 seems to always boot in windowed no matter what I select

Yeah it seems like the same issue, but switching to DirectX 9 seems to work for me (although 9 runs like spoiled milk and crashes half the time)

Update: Randomly DirectX 11 started working again, I have no clue what caused this since I haven't updated anything. I closed and tried again a couple of times and it is still working. Not sure how long it will keep working though.
