Be serious about this question: Do you realistically think SE will expend any effort to do this?

1.) It's not punishing anyone as you would be reimbursed. If it were just 6 people (I said handful because I'm being VERY generous), it would still positively impact many other players.

Yoshi-P already stated he doesn't want to expend efforts to punish players in the latest PLL. (It was on a different topic but I'm sure his sentiments are across the board.) So unlikely there will ever be a reversal on grandfathering.

This is refering to the use of Third person tools, huge difference, housing hits everyone, console as none console.

You're talking about taking away something of great value to the player who had put in effort to obtain, use and maintain it, then give them something useless to them in return.

Sorry, that's punishment. Actually, it's worse than punishment. It's also mocking the player. Good thing SE isn't doing it.

As for rules, SE does enforce their rules. It just doesn't have the result you expect because things aren't as simple as you want them to be.

Not really. The valuable housing census has shown time and time again the real number is tiny, especially at a server level. In a single lottery round they would all be gone and things would be the same.

They are very much against punishing people who played inside the rules. This is a common trait that shows over many years.

It seems pointless to waste any energy on the Marvinism "take their houses away". It will never happen - especially when there are thousands about to be added in NA, thousands available in EU, thousands available in OC.

It most definitely would be punishment to the player that has their house taken away after spending many hours decorating it. Using possibly unique irreplaceable furniture from events or from cashshop. How would you refund that?
Rules should never be enactex retroactive. They aren't in real life and they shouldn't be here.
