    Gils may mean something to you but as in game currency it has no value to old players.
    I could buy any house I want if it interested me (or multiple, lol), it doesn't change the fact enforcing the rules would be better for the game as a whole. The negative impact (and I don't consider a reimbursement a negative) on you and the handful of others is insignificant.
