One House Per Account.

You heard it here folks.

Remove the ability to buy houses on alternate characters, and refund the base cost of all houses people are holding onto with alts and free them up for the general public.

You don't need 10 houses.

You don't need 2 houses.

Eliminate the small percentage of players that refuse to relinquish their 'stockpile' of houses and force them to choose a single plot.

On Tonberry or in Materia? Dixie Bell had one on Materia before you took her back didn't she? She would have given that up for the move, but did you on your Visperia alt buy one in Materia, or did you have it before she moved back? Or does Dixie Bell have one on Tonberry now and you don't have one on Materia?

It's not a secret, for sure.

Dixie Bell was one of the great complainers about how dead Materia was, and how impossible it was to do content on Materia, and how she was happy to move back to Tonberry as soon as her 90 days were up.

When a thread like this pops up on an alt on a server she no longer plays on (where empty plots are plentiful) asking specifically "refund the base cost of all houses people are holding onto with alts" but hiding it amongst a Martin-ism, it's not hard to be confused about her current house holdings.

I have one on tonberry, was lucky enough to pick one up due to people moving to the new DC.
never bought another on Materia, didnt see any point as i wont be playing there

Let us know when you get a position with SE and can make that decision cause until then it's not going to happen. People following the rules outlined by SE will not be penalized because you think they should.

It's already the case. You can't buy more than one house per account.

You are limited to 1 FC house and 1 Personnal house per account and per world.

Some people love to get more house just for personnal gain by using alternate FC etc etc.... And I agree, this is complete garbage, just one guy need to pay up 10€ per month per house ! One guy with 10 house will literraly pay 100€ per month just to keep them. I'm pretty sure some of them must have found some abuse here in order to get all the FC house on the same account.

Square Enix need to punish those abuser. Only leaving one house on the account of the abuser, erasing all other house without refund (because abuse) and ban this guy for a limited time afterward.
