    Tinctures of Tenacity

The idea is to make Vitality potions at least a little more useful by giving them the properties of the tenacity substat rather than straight vitality.

    Pros:

    - The trait is tank specific already which reduces balancing requirements.

    - It's generally moderate-at-best effect in multiple areas reduces its potential to damage the rest of the tincture balance.

    - Fixes the ingredient imbalance of Lime Basil, who's continual primary impact is Vitality based alchemy and Command medicines.

    Cons:

    - Breaks the main stat symmetry of the 5 tinctures.

    - Requires unique balancing unless a relatively stable amount can be settled on based off Vatality, as the main stats are standardized naturally across all Player Characters based solely on character level and gear without other variable customization options to consider.

The defence/damage tenacity gives you is very very small, i think at this point 300 points are like 1% to both damage reduced and 1% damage dealt. 1% Damage reduced you will absolutely not feel.

I however absolutely agree that vit pots are currently worthless, tanks use str which feels a bit weird. If SE made tanks scale with VIT it would change the market a little bit.

The HP granted from these pots, has no value for a tank if you die its either an overtime thing (like those spicy new doted tankbusters) or a one clap. If you die because you had no mitigation up ... do you think you would time the pot right?

Im not an ultimate raider but i dont think even there a player would ever go "i need a few % more hp" and throw away their main stat pot in favor of that.

    Tenacity needs some buffs.

Rathen than "some buffs", I think that Tenacity need to have a clear identity.

In fact, Tenacity does work exactly like Determination. It's flat % Upgrade on damage inflicted (Just Like Det) and heal received and reduction on damage received.

Tanks will always choose Determination instead of Tenacity because Determination scales better. The % Goes much higher and more quickly.

Unless SE do something to really give stat some identity, this will never change

But I'm not against the idea that Tanks should scale on vitality rather than STR alone.

There is no reason Tenacity and Piety shouldn't be buffed. If it becomes the "must stack" secondary stat, how is that any different to Direct Hit or Crit? Better to be chasing a tank or healer specific stat as a tank or healer rather than avoiding it like the plague.

To become useful, both should have equal damage contribution to Direct Hit in addition to their current effect. Nothing more, nothing less. In this way, a Piety/Tenacity piece is your BiS, but a piece without it is still absolutely fine.

Tenacity pots are a nice idea, but personally I'd just make it a giant healing potion. 4 and a half minute cooldown and losing your dps pot is more than fair and it serves as an emergency option. Perhaps keep the vit for flavor and restore 80% health.

Also pots badly need to be allowed to weave properly. Why is this still a thing?
