FFXIV has stopped working.

Details:
My game crashes at least once every couple hours with this message, almost exclusively in Uldah. I have reinstalled, but got this message again about 10 seconds after logging in, just now. It has happened infrequently before, but since last week I crash many times per day.

Steps:
Do anything in uldah, especially doing too many things too quickly.

Date & Time:
most recently 10:50 AM Eastern time on June 15, 2012.

Frequency:
Seemingly random in heavy lag areas, especially when doing many things quickly in the UI.

Similar to what I and a lot of other people have been experiencing...though it's hard for me to say if it's something in 1.22b or something with the latest Nvidia drivers.

Do you, by any chance, have a game controller plugged in to your computer? Does it still happen if you have it unplugged?

I'm dealing with the same thing, although mine happens anywhere in the world and seems to be just completely random.

I can be just running on chocobo while mining in Coerthas and boom crash.

I have FFXIV installed on two different hard drives and both have this problem. I'm really hoping it's not a hardware (RAM) issue. Hope to run memtest86+ this weekend just to be sure.

Also there was one day I crashed and everytime I loaded the game up I would instantly crash while the game was loading (after character select screen)

I tried 4 straight times and crashed every single time. Restarting PC allowed me to login without a crash.

Nope no controller.
I did upgrade to latest nvidia drivers, but this was a couple weeks ago, and crashes are recent.
It'll go long stretches without crashing at all, or crash a bunch of times in a row, seems so random

It's also a good idea to keep the FFXIV program directory defragmented (unless you have it installed on a SSD, of course). When something frequently crashes, its files can get fragmented quicker.
