Tag system plz

Considering how many jobs we currently have plus the firm oulook of more to come, think its very much time we got a tag system so we could "share" gear/ilv with at least 1 other job.I figure we could have a tag gear set for each role with some general substats but doesnt have an exculsive ilv and with that could tag to another job and copy the gear ilv of that job while boosting the substats relative to the ilv.

Think we have something based on your level, yeah, but would like something based on ilv. Certainly feel like more folks would be happier if they could have a few main jobs to play with in endgame content rather than the usual 1 main until bis'd, kind of deal...

Gear does get somewhat homogenized by level 50+ but I think I see what you mean. I don't know if that's the right way to go about it though.

You're asking for gear for free for a completely different job role?

Like...say for example your WHM was i630 - you'd like to be able to apply that to DRG? That's not something I think they'd ever do, nor would I want it. I have every job at max level and play most of them. You get by just fine with crafted gear for your non-raid job, and if you raid long enough even those sub-jobs get pretty geared - and if they don't the 24 player raid offers higher item level gear than crafted for them.

Just play the game and they geared dude - not as geared as your raid job, but geared well enough to clear any content the game has to offer outside of a new ultimate being launched.

Jobs can already share gear. All healers share gear, all tanks share gear, all ranged physical dps share gear, all ranged magical dps share gear, MNK/SAM share gear and DRG/RPR share gear. Even NIN shares right side with ranged physical. The only thing they don't share is their weapon.

It's not like it's hard to gear a second job. Just go to the market board and buy the latest crafted gear and it's actually overpowered for most content already and good enough for savage.

Great, then people can gear up immediately and then flood the forums complaining that it's too easy and there's nothing to do at end game.
