When you push out my voice, I hope that whatever remains of the playerbase is happy with the above individual as their spokesperson.
In what way is my advice bad faith?

MMOs cannot produce an unending string of new content to constantly give players a new experience with new rewards. Development takes time and so new content gets drip fed to the players outside of an expansion launch when there's also a leveling experience to be completed that inflates the amount of new content the player is getting.

If someone wants what is as close to a "complete" experience as you can get from a MMO, the logical thing to do is wait until the relevant content has been released before buying. Among other things, it can save the consumer from wasting money on a bad game or a game that promises content updates but doesn't end up delivering. How often do we see our friends go "gee, that game ended up terrible, I wish I had waited to make sure it would be good before I bought it"?

My advice to any consumer who's looking to buy a product or service - don't buy if it doesn't have what you want and stop buying that product or service if you don't like what you're getting. You're not getting anything for being loyal to something that had no loyalty to you in the first place. You're wasting money that could be used for other things that you do like or at least serve some essential purpose for you.

Someone really needs to knock that flimsy pedestal out from under you. Neither you nor I are spokespersons for the player base. We speak for ourselves and only ourselves. We can offer suggestions that perhaps the developer will listen to and implement. We can offer advice to other players based on our own experience and what we know of them but it's up to those other players on whether they want to take that advice. I don't expect everyone to agree with me because not everyone wants the same things I want.

If you don't agree with me, then you don't agree with me. That's fine. I must admit I can't think of any occasion where I've agreed with you. But at least I'm happy overall with the product I'm paying for. It has its flaws in my opinion (the housing system being the one that most concerns me) but I'm still getting an experience I enjoy. I don't feel my money going to waste.

    Can you say the same?

Aveyond was the one who called it blitzing. I was just using their word in my reply.
