Ishgard restauration catch up

When the restauration was progressing each new phase became the only worth phase by killing previous grade rewards.

Now that it's finished, wouldn't it be time to resurect them ? there are achievements for doing the expert 80 G2 and G3 recipes ; these are almost as hard/annoying as the G4 but give almost nothing ? (almost no points and no minigame)

Same for diadem, and maybe add a 2nd action to aetheromatic auger that only give you the expert materials of each grade ?

There are a lot more QoL that would be nice but I'll stop here because theses wouldn't "lessen" the value of the achievement of people who did in when it was ongoing : they went there ang got full point/bonus values.

By now you can effectively macro all expert recipes from Ishgard Restoration. There is no point in "resurrecting" G2 and G3 recipes. Like all old achievements you just do them if you want titles. Or not do them. All rewards from the kupo tickets are out of date too and all easily purchased from the marketboard.

Why should you get a bigger reward now at level 90 than the reward that was given to those who did those achievements on a delay at level 80? The difficulty back then was significantly higher. Crafters couldn't macro. Gatherers were lucky to get a +2 on Bountiful Harvest/Yield and had no Gatherer's Boon for an additional passive increase. You've already gotten QoL improvements by being level 90 and getting those advantages that we lacked in Shadowbringers.

On the gathering side, there's no significant difference to the scrip earned because gathering was always more about the time investment than gear or skill. It's only for crafting that there's the huge difference in scrip earned - same as it was during phase 4 of the Restoration.

If you want the achievements, do them. If you want the scrip, there's always the normal level 80 recipes.

That's part of the point : you can macro G4 that give a full reward ; the same macro for G2/G3 give you 21 points.
And there is the pterodacyl mount, so it's not just titles.

For gathering the main bottleneck is weather nodes, I didn't touch that.

you just do G4 recipes. there is no reason to ever need to do G2/G3 anymore unless you want those titles from that. they don't need to contribute to the mount either. that's how old content always goes in the game.

Good news! The rewards are the same as they were during Phase 4 of the Restoration (other than XP being adjusted for the numbers squish at the start of Endwalker). You are getting the same rewards as those who worked on the P2/3 achievements during Phase 4 of the Restoration.

Considering the P2/P3 achievements were based on item counts not points, you can get those done quickly before returning to the P4 recipes and materials to finish off your Castle in the Sky achievement.

P2 and P3 Expert recipes never stopped contributing toward the mount. They just had their point values and scrip rewards nerfed.
