So the idea of "balance" is a long-running theme in FFXIV with Shadowbringers being the only time IMO when the game as consistently hitting a balance window that most people consider truly "balanced." However, with Endwalker changing the game o have all jobs burst as much as possible within 2 minute windows almost exclusively along with boss hit boxes being absolutely enormous to the point that melees pretty much always have full uptime, we've seen that the divide between jobs has grown significantly larger. This change has also made crit variance between runs extremely high which just compounds on to the problem. However, since I don't believe they're going to change this any time soon I would like to instead offer up my ideas for changes that they can make between the roles that should hopefully allow them to re-balance the jobs' DPS outputs and bring everything more in line. I'm going to break things down by roles and then maybe mention specific jobs within each role if I have any specific ideas about how they can be helped.
Tanks
Honestly, the only issue with tanks right now is that Paladin needs to do more burst damage in a 2 minute window and Warrior just needs more damage period to keep up with Dark Night and Gunbreaker. It's already been announced that Paladin is getting some sort of rework likely in 6.3 so hopefully at that time they'll also add a little more damage to Warrior's big hitting abilities that they use under buffs and really they should be fine.
Healers
Numerically, the healers aren't really in a bad position right now. I do think that Sage and White Mage could use a LITTLE BIT more damage as the other two jobs excel under buffs but honestly they're all pretty close and doing pretty well.
Melee
This role is fairly well balanced with the exception that Monk is doing hella good and Reaper needs a buff to bring it up to Ninja and Dragoon. Specifically, Reaper needs to have their Enshroud Attacks including Communio buffed so that they do more damage under raid buffs and it would also be cool if they received like 30 Enshroud gauge if they completely the full Soulsow channel in combat to help them get their burst ready during downtimes.
Ranged
This applies to the casters as well but all of the ranged DPS simply need to do more damage than they currently do to counteract the fact that melees have pretty much full uptime in all fights now. Past that, Machinist just needs MORE DAMAGE to bring it in line with the other two jobs.
Casters
I think they should remove raise from SMN/RDM and make it a role action that can only be used once every 5 minutes for ALL the casters and then buff SMN/RDM along with the ranged DPS to counter-balance melees having full uptime. This would also allow them to bring the casters' DPS closer together with Black Mage still slightly on top since they have the least utility but more in line with other roles.
