There's a middle ground.

I feel like the "white knight" label gets thrown as soon as anyone says they like any part of the game. In a discussion on the story I might get labelled a white knight, but here I am quite frustrated with other aspects of the game. People have to be able to give positive feedback as well as negative.

Let's be real here, even if they'd somehow added more, it wouldn't have been enjoyable content. Because at its core, the island sanctuary is just timegated grinding. You're either gathering, which has no substance to it, just click and it's done. Or you're waiting for plants to grow, animals to be harvested, voyages to return, buildings to finish. That's the whole thing. Sometimes it's broken up by a rare spawn. Yoshi spent like 2 months begging us to have low expectations, this is probably why.

Get the booty shorts. Get the bike. Get the mandragora mounts. Get out 'til the next expansion for it. Maybe they'll add more stuff, who knows.

My future interest of Island Sanctuary will depends on the way they update it.

If they only add new rewards and place to unlock just to give new things to farm, then i don't think it is an engaging gameplay loop.

If they add more activities and ways to engage with the island, then there's a chance that it gets more entertaining in the future.

I really hope it won't be just more of the same stuff and i end up leaving once i buy what i'm interested in.
Give us reasons to stay there more than 15 minutes on a tuesday.

The most said we get new content in 6.3 for IS, but didn't they said it get's updated every 2 major patches so next will be 6.4?

After completing it and getting everything there is to buy, it's an easy way to get those rarer dyes from Ishgard restoration by visiting the island once a week. It's not ongoing content but neither are many other types of content where once you have the rewards it's over.
