Hi guys! Im wasnt active in this forum for a looong time and usually only read stuff here from time to time since I returned to playing the game, but that comment from alec97 triggered me lol. How can ppl be so judgemental about sooo little info they get from a conversation on the internet with total strangers? Let me show you how its done alec: you seem to be a bitter and toxic person ,thinking too mutch about marriage and making kids instead of understanding that ppl can be happy without any of them. And the way you targeted liana because of her way of live with your passive aggressive comments shows you cleary look down at her for what ever reasons. Dont try to conceal that with stupid "jokes" How about you do a break from the internet for a while and go meditate or something? It could detox your personality a litte.Side note since I missed this gem of a post,
Good thing we both don't want to have kids either then, aye? ;3 If anything we'll adopt in the future and give someone a home.
Also, just because YOU may have had men/women in your life leave you for someone younger or been told by others that they will (or if you have done it to someone else in which case that's a whole other kind of gross) doesn't mean EVERYONE does/that it's the majority that does. I have a very comfortable & healthy relationship where my partner gives me the room to completely be myself and loves me unconditionally. Even when I'm looking like complete trash, he's there to tell me I'm beautiful. When things go wrong, we work them out together and come out better for it.
Sorry that this type of relationship is foreign to you. Should probably work on correcting that instead of making assumptions about my sex life/the state of my reproductive organs on an FF forum.
Ok thats all from me! Looking forward to read some more on this topic

Wholesome comment. I agree. It isn't weird, but it does require a substantial amount of trust. Most people on the internet are fine (it's true), but there are people out there very invested in being someone they aren't. Just be sure to verify that the person you're talking to is who they say they are before you get too committed, and remember to keep yourself safe. Otherwise, absolutely no harm in it!

The social aspect of FF XIV (and almost every other MMO) is really big. People find it easier to connect in this games because, well you already share a common interest. As other users say it it requires a lot of trust because the other one could be lying and there is no way to prove it... but when you have been gaming and raiding for years, thats one less obstacle.
If you find it weird dont worry, you can spent hours and hours of "regular" or normal content, I know I play this way. But for others talking, going to clubs and other stuff is the main experience they have.
In other words, games like these can be what you want to take from the: a dating sim, a casual game to relax, a sweaty competition of clears/pvp, what ever you want
It was, I played as an Illusionist, had a lot of fun crowd controlling. Healing is ok, but an also ran to that.
Having a real need to CC adds in FFXIV and a few more CC spells for the healer would be quite awesome.

Let people e-date.
The fallout and resulting google doc's are a free source of entertainment for those of us that just sit back and eat popcorn.
