Feature Request: Better Friend List

Something I've been wanting to post, but never found the right place to put down or recommend, so I figured this place was going to be the best place for it.

The friend list in FF14 has always been a bit lackluster for me, and while it certainly has it's uses and helps me keep track of people across world, it still has some flaws that I think that could be expanded upon as well as one bug that could possibly be fixed. So here is a list of my suggestions to improve quality of life and to make it better.

1. 1. A system alert whenever a friend logs in or a way for the game to notify you when they are online.
2. 2. A Icon that can be put on the UI to show you how many of your friends are online
3. 3. Fixing of a apparent bug where sometimes the friend list doesn't always show when someone is online across world

I'm sure there are other things that can be added on, but I believe this is a good start to address some of the hassles of the friend list and make it just that much better

I second this idea. The friend's list is bad. I would just like for the whole thing to be a little less slow to function. CWLS LS Fellowship FC and Friends list can all be reworked into a more user-friendly system with faster server responses. A better friends list would be a QoL upgrade that this game needs.
