Having Trouble with Questlines

I am level 66 and until level 50 I was plowing thru the main questline. Got to a point where Minfilia wont offer me "Good intentions" because i need some prereqs. All good need to complete some side quests so i can complete couple of instances on hard. However it seems however long I queue in duty finder (92:30) and counting for Urths Fount which I think i need to complete I am totally stuck.

GM "I cant tell you if thats the right content or not" SO A MONTH ON I AM STILL STUCK - Yay GM
GM suggested use YELL - No answer Yay GM.
GM suggested use party finder - no parties intrested in my quest at the moment and I cant afford anotehr 90 min.

So Im at a point where I'm totally stuck. Options now look like Stuck for ever or can Subscription!

Any suggestions welcome

Google is your friend, mate.
What you need to do are the Hard versions of Ifrit, Garuda, and Titan. The quests for those should be available inside the Waking Sands in Western Thanalan.

No, they couldn't have been. I think the GMs have orders not to answer that kind of questions - because their response to you is pretty much what many others have reported when asking such questions.
They simply aren't allowed to tell you what quests to do, or how to do the quests. Luckily there are plenty of websites and other users than can help.

(And I did mean that about using Google. I could not remember which quest "Good Intentions" was, so I had to look it up to answer you. Took less than one minute to find information on the quest, and its requisites.)

While your question has been answered, ill chime in with a little extra info. First of all, i believe that MistakeNot is 100% right on both fronts. The GMs arent allowed to give that type of info, and the (Hard) versions of Ifrit, Garuda, and Titan are whats blocking you. Normally when you dont meet the prerequisites to advance a quest then clicking on the quest will tell you what it is you need to do to continue. If this quest doesnt have that info, then that is an issue that the devs could fix to make progression easier.

So the Urths Fount fight is an optional trial that pits you up against Odin. If i remember right its in both the Trial and Mentor roulettes, but being an optional fight it would probly fill slightly slower then a standard que. Partyfinder can absolutely be your friend here. In addition, if you just wanted to clear it and didnt care about whether or not you got the full challenge going in unsync'd is an option. Youre getting up to the level range where some classes can solo the fight. At the most it would take 3 of you.

If i were to guess, id say part of the problem you are encountering is due to playing on one of the Japanese Data Center servers. The fact that youre posting on the english language forums leads me to guess you probly have the english client and english set as your language in game. The information isnt anywhere to be found in game, but there are different match-making criteria for different types of duties. Some of them will match you regardless of language, others will only match if your language options in the duty finder match. I bring all this up to say this. Playing on a JP server and not having JP set as a viable language(whether you can actually read it or not) will greatly increase how long it takes for some ques to pop. This is also true on the Euro servers(to a lesser extent) if you dont have french and german toggled. So going forward, you can speed up some of your ques by adding Japanese as a viable language. Alternatively, if you didnt mean to make a character on the Japanese servers then moving to another DC would speed things up as well.

And the final extra tidbit to add. Theres one more piece of "side content" that will be required for you to continue the questline forward. Good Intentions was blocked by the (Hard) mode trials. In about a dozen or so quests you will find that your progress is blocked again if you havent completed the Crystal Tower questline. You may have already done this(in which case the game will see that and youll fly right past the checkpoint), but if not you can do so early if you choose rather then getting roadblocked again in the near future. The quest to start these is in Mor Dhona, given out by "An Outlandishly Dressed Man" - Legacy of Allag.
