I think the reason for that is because the music of Eulmore is more of a Ballroom dance such as a masquerade wherein multiple couples are engaged in the dance. I believe you're thinking about things more in line with just the two of you, and I think that is why The Hand That Gives a Rose resonates with you much more, despite the chanting. Ravana's theme is one that expresses a 'dance', or "Tango" as Ravana would put it between two powerful entities, and the music is composed in a way that reflects this. It is a fitting theme, considering the combative nature of FFXIV.Thanks for all the suggestions! I dont think we're skilled enough for a Flamenco, but the waltz-pieces sound lovely! I hadnt even thought about Eulmore, which only goes to show how deaf my music-ear is (as in: I enjoy the music greatly, but I'm not able to identify anything about it... been to Eulmore many times, never truely noticed its a waltz...)
If looking for something more in line with two souls in harmony rather than combat, I'm thinking something like Born of the Boughs, which would be a simple and very wholesome tune to dance to.
When I got married I used a bunch of FFXIV musicI walked to the ARR Prelude and because we got married on Talk Like A Pirate Day, allll of the Limsa/La Noscea music - first dance was a proper Manderville (and the other three dances you can unlock in the city-states) based on Denmo's first dance video. This game has a lot of good music (and dances!) for weddings haha. Good taste, OP!
I definitely feel something like Flow, Tomorrow and Tomorrow, even the Titania music would be great. If you want instrumental, I agree with the Eulmore theme or Vamo'alla Flamenco for sure.
Congrats on your impending Eternal Bond!

There isn't one. Plenty of amusing / happy dances suggested in the thread that would make your wedding unique, but a first dance? Game doesn't have a single track that parses as a love song.
Dragonsong warAlright, I need some help!
My partner and I met playing this game and are currently planning our real life eternal bond ceremony (in other words: we're getting married). Since FFXIV holds a special place in our hearts we wanted to pick a song from the game for our first dance - and heres where we need some help: Neither of us is a good dancer, we'll take some lessons of course but those wont be able to correct my complete lack of sense of rythm (honestly, I'm unable to clap to a beat) or our general clumsiness.
So what we need is a song thats very simple to dance to; we were thinking of a waltz maybe? (Since thats supposed to be easy to learn/dance, right?) But we'd be open to other styles of dance as long as they're easy to learn (even for total beginners)!
We were hoping that some of you guys, who have a better understanding of how music and dances work, could maybe make some suggestions? (It would be helpful if you could mention what kind of dance would go with the song)
(I had identified "The hand that gives the rose" as some kind of waltz, but the "chanting" in the background is not ideal - thats as far as my ability to identify things in songs goes, though)
Thanks in advance!

*The song "Eyes on me" doesn't play at all during the Eden raid*
That still steams my clams but if you are looking for a good FF slow dance then you can't really go wrong with that one.
There were so many missed opportunities in the Eden raid series that I'd need more than a few graphs, diagrams and charts to explain it all. That was, sadly, one of many.
