What if Yoshi-P changes his mind and add new race, what race would it be?
I, personally, think it would be like beast-humanoid race (and it would kill the dev team lmao)

ps. I know that Yoshi-P mentioned there will be no more new races in the future of FF14 but the daydreaming is not prohibited (sorry for bad Eng)

Personally I dont think they'll ever consider adding new races anymore due to how much issues they have maintaining the new ones introduced in ShB.

However, I would love to see them adding new clans to some of the established races like Garlean Hyurs, Othardian Roegadyn etc

Honestly not far from what could happen, given he wanted to test out a bestial race with the Lupins.

YES!!! Not really new races necessarily, but definitely expand the racial variants so that we don't have "umbral and astral". That way we get to have proper Garleans, people can play as Gosetsu, and who knows, Raen Au Ra can be a bit more defined than just "the generic foreign Au Ra". Or you know, the half- races like Hilda.

On second thought, NO. I know people will demand for Skitty on Wailord action if that last idea ever passes. That topic is cursed and I'm sorry for opening Pandora's Box, I did NOT think that through

iirc there's a third clan in a few races, so just add those with some extra/expanded character creator options. At this point this is all I really want.

He expressed interest in doing a reptilian beast race before if he were to add any further new races, though whether the playerbase shares that interest is another matter entirely.
