    Questfinder

    Hello Guys,

Im new and I have a completing everything addiction. Im level ten but I dont see any Quest that are under my level range anymore and its kinda annoying because I also wanna do the quests thats under my level. Is there any way to see them on the map again? In most games there is a setting for it but I didnt found it. If there isnt any setting for it, is there maybe a Addon someone can suggest me?

    Thanks a lot

    Greetings!

If you don't see quests on the map then it's because there are no quests. There is not even an option to hide quests in this game.

Some quests will become available upon completing other quests or other activities (such as getting married or collecting all extreme trial mounts for an expansion).

Quests do change color sometimes. Yellow is a normal quest, blue is an important quest (unlocks something) and red means the quest is available to you but you don't meet the conditions to progress (wrong class, not enough of an item it wants, haven't completed certain content yet).

You can try to see if there are quests in other areas by teleporting to every area in your teleport list so you can see if there are quests in any of the areas.

There are actually 3 starting areas (Limsa Lomina, Ul'dah and Gridania) and which area you start in depends on which class you chose. Each of those city states have level 1-15 quests in their surrounding areas so you can arrive at these locations in the story to discover you have missed all these 1-15 quests. After that, the story merges, so all the quests after that will appear in areas you visited as part of the main story quest, which is the quest shaped like a ball of fire.

In other news, there is no technical debt from 1.0.
"We don't have ... a technological issue that was carried over from 1.0, because ARR was meant to kind of discard what we had from 1.0 and rebuild it from the engine."

Level 10 is very early in the game and as Jeeqbit said, if you can't see any quests below your level currently then that's because there aren't any quests left.

Following the MSQ (fireball quest icon) is necessary to unlock just about everything in the game, including dungeons and eventually expansion areas.

Also, it will be a good idea for you to pick up a second class so you can spread EXP between them, or you are likely to end up very overlevelled. There are different classes available in each of the three major cities, and you will gain access to the others at level 15 of the MSQ story (regardless of your personal level).

I also notice that despite you saying you're "new" and "level 10" your profile next to your post says you are a level 60 dragoon. That tells me you've probably just bought a level boost while on the free trial, which you won't get much benefit from at this stage. You're still restricted to level 50 areas at most and even then, most of the dungeons are locked behind story progression.

I would suggest getting a second class right now (especially if you've left MSQ behind at level 4 or something) and using that class for MSQ and sidequests so you can get benefit of levelling up while you work through it.

Another thing for quest completion in the long run is that firstly you may wish to level all the classes anyway, since they get individual storylines, but even if you don't do everything then you will definitely want one class from each of the five roles: tank, melee, ranged, caster and healer. There are storylines in the later parts of the game that can only be completed by specific roles.
