    GE: So are there any other new systems we can expect to see at at launch 2.0 that we don’t have now?

    Yoshida: One thing that will be implemented at 2.0 launch will be new instanced raids that will require alliances of 24 players. In addition, for these, and other instanced raids, we will be adding difficulty selections. So players can play on normal difficulty and get certain items, but then try again on a hard setting in order to obtain better items.

    Seems like some of my ideas weren't so bad. Gives me a bit of hope that Yoshi's and my vision for Battle Regime will coincide as well.

    As far as jumping for the sake of jumping. Honestly, unless it allows me to hop over foot high ledges that were previously impassable, I won't be using it.

    - except to annoy those who will be bothered by random jumping.

    You're missing about a year's worth of me stating that adjustable difficulties would add to content replability, yes.

    But I'm not taking credit for the implementation of the idea - It's not as if I'm a game designer or anything. It's a coincidence. One I'm glad for.
