I'd like to see more mid range stuff too, but with how quickly you can blast through to 50, it seems like it would be a futile effort.
My hope is that they fix this problem...maybe right now its ok...but with 2.0 I think they need to rework the levels and the pace to get to each level...I would like to think that everything we have at lvl 50 now get scaled to what ever lvl cap they may have in mind...I might be in the minority here but I hate looking at all my lvl 50 stuff and it just seems all endgame when they really not...but w/e...this is SE world, I just play in it...
This would not be a problem if it was easier for gear to "leave" the game via NPCing (which is not really worth it as there is no such thing as soulbound gear) and sharding/DE (which can't be done quickly and efficiently because of how materia assimilation works).
* The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.

im still 100% behind my idea that we need 200k exp to go from 50-51, and 300k to go to 52, and 400k to go to 53, up til we need about 500k per level and then it should slow again around there
cuz how much you can get per hour right now at those higher ranges is pure rediculousness
