Leave that until 500 or so quests in the future when your gear has caught up a bit. But right now, CT isn't that much fun for an on-level player, and it's not like they will see a single mechanic outside of "A: All in the belly / B: Belly time / C: Can we join you in the belly?" which they are likely dead on the floor for anyway.
The only thing they really could do with doing is putting an item level sync closer to the minimum, not a rework. The mechanics of all alliance raids are overwhelming, not just ARR. Even as someone who has cleared them before, you can go into the alliance raids from expansions and not understand some of the mechanics because there are so many of them. It gives them a good sense of the scale of alliance raids.

In other news, there is no technical debt from 1.0.
"We don't have ... a technological issue that was carried over from 1.0, because ARR was meant to kind of discard what we had from 1.0 and rebuild it from the engine."

Just force minimum ilevel in them, and that would solve a lot of the level 90s destroying everything before new players know what is going on.

It's almost impossible unfortunately. Unless you're able to see all their achievements and such for having cleared it.

Which would be solved if the lvl 50 raids have very strict ilvls and some very notorious boss mechanics that you would prefer to avoid (idealy causing several wipes to happen when its a lot of newer players). People would not cheese anymore to reduce the chances of facing those bosses. And while the newer players might struggle a lot here, the echo would eventualy help them enough to get through it (not to mention them slowly understanding the mechanics better and failing less on that).

Idealy the lvl 50 raids should be more difficult than the lvl 60 ones in order to make people not want to cheese (and it doesnt mean they become extremely difficult either, they just have to be 'anoying' enough).

And when its a proper challenge, i wouldnt care if it shows up either. Its a lot better than the dull 20mins of sleeping.

I'm someone who advocates for them treating Alliance Roulette the same as Expert Roulette, where in order to access it you have to have all things contained within not only unlocked, but cleared at least one. Remove the ability to ilevel cheese it, and then it would be a true roulette and not CT roulette.

You could say the same about much of the content in this game that a new player would be doing.

And its current state is why people are so bad at everything else -- because they're so inexperienced with real alliance raid mechanics.

You must not get the type of runs I've gotten. More than once have I gotten people who've said these raids are their favorite. I've also gotten times when the pots need healing. Heck in the past when people have made similar threads about this raid there have been people who have stated they haven't unlocked the other ones on alts due to liking how brain dead these raids are. It's how the player base is. At least the NA and EU. Not sure if the JP still enjoy slowing down their dps to see the mechanics.

You'd see mechanics being skipped even back during late ARR. I doubt they will change much more than what they already have. Like how they changed the thunder stack marker during the five headed dragon from a purple arrow above your head, changing the floating platform marker into a floating stack marker, or how if you get the single target mechanic during the Cloud of Darkness fight it's now has the follow indicator we see in later raids. Course who knows as I didn't expect a death animation rework for the last raid due to 6.2. Now if they'd go an change all the other voidsent death animations. Like idk all of the ones in the only raid that deals 100% with the void.

The best fight in Syrcus is a shadow of its former self, I would have infinitely more fun if I actually saw mechanics in there as opposed to... maybe seeing some in WoD and WoD only. It would also destroy the "but it's so faaaast" argument that people have and I'd probably see other things more often instead of just monikaCrystal Tower, just Crystal Tower, ONLY CRYSTAL TOWER if they all had mechanics back. ...also that first week of mechanics back I'd want to be in those parties just to watch people go "?!?!?! WHAT DO I DO" while the old players who have been here for 84 years do them with no issues lmao.

Though before that happens, I'd prefer them to fix Atomos' aggro range in Labyrinth so just looking at Atomos funny or sneezing in its direction with your toe barely over the line doesn't aggro. If they can't (or won't), then fixing where everyone who isn't at their team's lane on pull actually gets shuffled correctly instead of just piling into A's lane would be great.

Still gonna hold out for a proper Glasya fight though, that fight was the most fun in Syrcus.

Yes, I did Sycrus MINE a while back and got to actually SEE the mechanics for the fights. The Glasya fight was wild! Soooo much bouncing around! We had discord chat and people were laughing and having a ball with all that craziness.

Too bad newbies will never see that, well unless they are lucky enough to get into a MINE run of ST.
