I'm sorry to hear that this has been a persistent issue for you. When you had updated your GPU drivers, did you fully uninstall your previous drivers? If not, it may help to do a full uninstall of your GPU drivers and a fresh reinstall afterward. I would also recommend making sure that your anti-virus software has the appropriate exceptions made for FINAL FANTASY XIV, and to perform a clean boot by opening your Task Manager, and disabling all applications listed in the 'Start Up' tab. Afterward, restart your PC and try running the game as an administrator to see if that makes a difference.
