Things you want SE to keep doing

If a mere "thank you, Square" isn't enough, which admittedly it isn't, then the best way to counteract these threads' constant bickering is by telling Square directly what you enjoy about the game and want them to keep doing.

Not everyone will agree with your preferences, and that's fine. Just keep in mind that at the end of the day, when it comes to feedback, Square will pool the common grounds and take that to heart.

So for example...

• I like the concept behind Island Sanctuary, and frankly wish it could be expanded further. It has so much potential while still being an incredibly casual piece of content to play through.
• The story is amazing, even if it has stuff in need to iron out. The story is impactful, it captures peoples' attentions and it really explores interesting facets. Keep doing that, you're on a roll since Shadowbringers/late Stormblood.
• The side content having more relevance than before is a good thing in my book. Side content always was somewhat relevant as it branched off of the MSQ, but stuff like Eden or Pandaemonium that bring some plot threads to a close or expand on minor characters is very endearing. I love Hephaistos-Lahabread, I love Gaia and Ryne. I would like to see more like this, rather than throwaway characters.
• Glamour limitations being done away with and allowing people to wear gear like that is a good thing as well. Even if not my cup of tea, I know a lot of people want it and would appreciate it.
• This one might be a bit harsher, but I want to hear Soken more than I want to hear Uematsu. Soken's renditions of FF5, 6, 8 and recently 4 music have been cute. But I want to see him use those as leitmotifs the way he's known for, with more of his own spin.

So please. Respect one another, and don't just say "thanks for this Square". No, actually bring forth what you ACTUALLY want them to keep doing. Make this a space for positive feedback rather than just our usual complaint board.

Re Island Sanctuary, Yoshi has said there will be updates and additional content going forward, I would imagine it will be tied to patch content as it is released.

Story content: as far as I am aware, we DO have new content for Aglaia coming. AFAIK Pandeamonium is done, if there is new content for that storyline, I havent heard anything. The arc may be completed.

Glamour is an ongoing issue, I am sure they are looking at it as they are with a great deal of other factors, so all we can do is wait.

Yep ^^ I agree, and it's understandable. I meant it more like "don't think we're disliking this, keep doing it when possible".

I would prefer they put less emphasis on "balance" and bring back uniqueness to jobs, even if that means not making new jobs.

I am happy they are making graphical changes to the game, but that needs to include the character deficits which already exist in the present system. if they are updating the graphics, they need to update the issues stated for the races they have already included.

The effort that has been put in into unlocking old gear items.[obviously it's far from over.., I'd hope they also consolidate some gear that shares Looks. maybe even make them variable stats, since no one will actually wear it in content, aka Garo]

hard question, but mostly cause it's narrowed to what we like, and want them to continue.

(and tbh, even if it was a thanks thread, it depends on the delivery, and purpose. which some fail, but I'll leave it there.)

Whoever wrote Pandaemonium should replace Ishikawa as lead writer, assuming that they manage to pull off a decent ending to the storyline in 6.4. Their writing has been the most impressive when compared to everything else we've seen this expansion, and I want to see more from them.

Keep on integrating character portraits into more game features/modes. Can't wait to see them in dungeons and stuff, and getting new customization options added over time. There are some weird restrictions and kinks to work out right now, but I'm confident it'll be sorted out with time.

Also, can you please let us use an in game portrait for our forum avatar?

- Getting a handful of hairstyles for my buns has been the highlight of every patch in EW. The team is making steady progress, if the pace keeps up we'll be caught up waaaay faster than I initially expected \o/

- DC travel has been amazing for rpers. Making new friends, hanging out at new venues, goofing around out in the world. I remember how annoying it used to be to try to time queuing so I could play with my off world friends back in HW and now all we're really missing is the ability to attend weddings offworld. Hope we can get that one day too.

There are 3 tiers of each raid, be it the 24 man ones or the 8 man ones. The sidestuff with the twelve is due for 2 more tiers, Panda 1 (since we just got the 2nd).
