I think you took the post a bit too seriously, they were making a jab at the fact the devs had the nerve to say jobs are balanced based on complexity lmaoSamurai during " Patch 6.1 " had the following happening.
These changes were not requested by us nor the Kaiten removal and this was only recently addressed by the Crit/D.Hit changes. So they made our Job have less nuance for more consistent damage output.
Now if you're talking Zero Difficulty? that is dependent on the player cause someone will find 1 job easier or harder then another. However Samurai is far from the easiest Job out of all Jobs even with it's friendly barrier of entry to flail your sword around and deal decent damage vs optimizing it, cause it has buffs and bursts to juggle and quite some cast times.
Demanding damage reduction based on execution requirement? is a very poor take. I'd rather see the opposite, of advocating jobs to have more nuances or complex gauges resource managements to justify damage ouput, or higher APM etc.
And if we're talking Transparency, I probably would look at BLM first out of any other Job and compare how that job is being treated vs every other Job every patch. But that could just be me.
