I just want to point out that whenever anyone says "most people hate X about this game/dev team", people defend them with "not most, only the forums". Which they do: tweets, reddit posts, streamers, cosplayers... The community is known for being nice, and that's what players also tend to externalize the most on other media. A bit too much at times, but rarely ever do you have any negative comment.

They have more than enough praise across the internet. This is the place where they ask for feedback, and not all feedback will be pleasant, nor something everyone has to agree with. It shouldn't be the only singular purpose of these forums, but it does contribute to perceived negativity.

Sooo yeah, they do get praise when they do something good. idk why people think that they don't.
What they never get is anything negative unless it's here. And some people just don't like that it exists at all.
