I'll be honest - I've always found elements of this fandom to be creepily cult-like at times and I'm not going to pretend as if even reasonable feedback written in a polite and constructive manner isn't shot down by some of the same posters who are now getting angry within this very thread because there's a growing outcry of acknowledgement that maybe, just maybe, some elements of the game could stand to improve.

Seems a tale of 2 sides tbh. Because yes there will always be people who do this. But thats on both sides of a coin. I also feel with how quick people are to jumping on folks they misunderstand what folks are actually saying.
Like when ire was REALLY hot here and folks like myself told others to leave polite and constructive criticism and leave the game til they saw the changes they wanted to send a message. Many of us were called white knights n criticism police when we were in fact just trying to help.

No side is innocent here
