The Devs need a much needed thanks!

DEVs get plenty of thanks in the form of our monthly payment.

They don’t get enough.

Thank you developers, you make a good game. Money is meaningless if your work is not fulfilling, therefore I disagree making Hundreds or millions matter.

People think it’s okay to hate just because they get paid to do what they do. It’s not. If people can’t submit feedback in a respectful and constructive manner it just shows how much misery and hate their life harbors.

These aren’t happy people, and it has nothing to do with a video game. Their life just sucks and they want other people to hurt because they have unresolved conflicts in their life.

But then again, when they talk about their issues or their failures, they in turn want kindness and understanding and would be crushed if people treated them with nothing but disdain, like they do to others. The things these folks say speak volumes about them and very little about the developers themselves.

As such, I hope the developers keep doing their best and fixing the areas where players feel the game is lacking in. I also beg them to ignore folks who spew nothing but entitlement and hatred. Hopefully they still have passion for their work despite the haters in this forum and elsewhere.

The last thing I hope is that they know there are good people out there, it’s just that most of them don’t tend to post anything, but the vast majority of like this game.

Personally I am most grateful for the graphics overhaul. It’s a huge undertaking that I’ve been wanting to see for a long time.

It's nice for modders to have that special advantage of not answering to any higher ups or work on other priorities within their workspace to quickly answer to the whims and demands of their own playerbase.

Maybe it's just me but the lighting overhaul they showed off for 7.0 looked way better than the overly bloomy and glossy lighting modders favor so much.

Kind of disingenuous when the OP basically throws shade at people complaining about legit balancing concerns, in the process of offering that "thanks". Maybe it's less so drama queens and more so people calling that out? It's very rare that I see a genuine thanks thread, that isn't doing this, or isn't just popping up to antagonise people complaining about something.

News flash, the world is not all sunshine and rainbows, this game isnt perfect, very far from it, and people have legit complaints about it, and have the right to voice them. Thanking them for doing the bare minimum is laughable at best.

Casual pleb here, I don't play savage. XIV still gets about 20 times more content in 1 big update than my ex MMO GW2 which makes me love this game so I do appreciate the devs. If this makes me a white knight, then I will gladly embrace this title.
