I just want to point out that the critics aren't the ones telling you that you can NEVER be positive. All we're saying is that you should be positive when its the right time to be positive and SE does something you like, and that it's ok to be negative when it's the right time to be negative when SE screws up. On the other hand, you have the critic police out in full force, calling anyone who isn't overly positive a 'hater' that should be ignored by polite society.

Let me ask you this. Even if you disagree with me or others when we put forth criticism of something you like, what kind of culture do you want for the forums?

A forums where we are allowed to be honest, and both positivity and negativity have a place? A place where opinions can be shared freely?

Or a social media website like Twitter or Reddit where only one side of the debate is allowed? Where one side of the debate encompasses everything and anything to the contrary is silenced and expelled?

I've been getting attacked a lot lately; the post above is a response to such an attack.
It's hardly a rampage, though. I've ignored a lot of those attacks.

I've an iron-clad rule, acquired back in the 20th Century, against posting when upset.
And the moment this forum causes me to lose a minute of sleep, I'm gone. That's not likely.

But that doesn't mean I can't write for emotional effect, as I have been trained to do.
And Anton Ego's soliloquy on being a food critic has some salient points.

Define 'haters'. My guess is that 'haters' are people who don't constantly thank SE for everything and actually have the honesty in them to be negative when something's wrong in the game.

You HAVE tried to play internet psychologist with me and pick apart my life (even though you failed massively) to discredit my desire that there would be more content during content droughts. You HAVE been a boastful person who can't make a post without either bragging about themselves or their spouse, or claiming to be the victim when someone rightfully points out what you're doing.

Sometimes, i also think to myself to thank the dev and make this kind of thread, but again, i already paid subscription to the game monthly, it doesnt mean i disagree with this kind of thread, it just people need to remember, we played the game for the fun and paid for it, it is the dev duty and obligation to make sure it is fun for the player to justify the player to keep playing it and paid the subscription, it is simply business in the end of the day

Are you talking about "hateful sorts" who stalk people from thread to thread looking for any excuse to post attacks on them? I.e., people like awesomeJr and SentioftheHoukai? Apparently not.

But no surprise. After all, surveys indicate that some people believe the US border is more secure than ever, and that inflation was at 0% in August, like the WH says. I don't doubt that some posters here are among those people. The human capacity for doublethink is as bad as Orwell portrayed it to be ... too bad so few people read 1984 (or Animal Farm) anymore.

On topic: thank you, devs, for the Summer Sunset Sandals. They aren't exactly what I want for my fem Vieras, but they are very nice and a step in the right direction. And they didn't cost extra!
