Pretty much. It's a freaking factory in disguise. The very concept of the island being a sanctuary is misleading. It was never our own personal island for relaxation and hobbies, it's Tataru's factory for her boutique and we're just the manager. Why else would everything be so...industrialized - even the tree house has a forge in it disguised as a bbq grill
Keeping them around for construction purposes is fine. Heck, I'm also okay with my vendors being mammets. The ones who perform daily tasks are also fine. But the rest? Especially after I've constructed everything? I would prefer that they leave and never return. There's too many. Or, failing that, let us choose who we want like we can with retainers and stuff. Race, looks, etc. Even just being able to choose a race is fine.
The mammets are even worse than the creepy voyeur moogle that won't get out of your apartment in XI.
hahaha you thought the island was for relaxing? get back to work you lazy bum! there are trees to be chopped and stones to be crushed!
for real tho, for those chairs its better to use sitground for a more relaxing pose

I'd be fine with the mammets if they stuck to the workshops and places where they make sense. I'd even be okay with the lead mammet hanging around the cottage like a task manager ready for work, although preferably outside or by the door, not right next to the bed. But I do wish the vendors and the others just standing around got their own building or kiosk or something.
"Relaxing? On MY Island!?
More likely than you think!"
