There is another thread here that talks about additions to grow the island Sanctuary, so please engage with their post to talk about adding things.
In this post, I would like to focus on improving existing functions.
1: Allow Modes to be Set to Hotbar
Currently switching modes is clunky, especially on controller. Simply put, these modes could be added to existing Hotbars for quick engagement. More complex changes could be enabling a Sanctuary Hotbar (akin to pet bars), or even making swapping macro'able so we can create our own buttons and do fun things like tying a mode swap to a glamour plate!
2: Beckon AoE instead of Single Target
Another clunky thing is calling my pets over one at a time. How about I just whistle and pets in a range come running? Or if you wanna get creative, a bell! I'll call it the feeding bell.
3: Improved notifications of when actionable things are ready.
This would be such when facilities have available upgrades, Excitable Explorer has returned, your workshops have something to deliver to you. There are quest markers for expansions, and functionality unlocks as you progress, and while those are useful that's not what I'd like to see. I'd like to see something conspicuous such as:or something immersive such as:
- A Toast Notification
- An Audible Cue
- A Quest Marker for the
soon made obsoleteFelicitous Furball
- Mammet/NPC Idle Animation Change (e.g. Excitable Explorer with a bunch of bags around him)
- Changed Activity at the Workshop or Granary wheh there's something ready
- Flower Petals/Pollen in the wind when your crops are ready for Harvest
4: Improved Data in the Set Agenda Selection
Currently it allows to sort by time or by category, and I think that is sufficient. However, alongside each craft, I should be able to see at least the current Popularity. This one bit of information should not be sequestered to ONLY Market Research, even if it is as simple as that little Popularity Face right next to the name of the item.

I love Island Sanctuary, and I want this to remain an active, engaging, and rewarding experience for players for a long time. I've been playing this game for over(?) a decade since 1.0 and to me this addition is most unexpected and most welcome.
