You have FCs for Femroes, you have FCs for Au Ra, you have FCs for Lalafell. You have discord groups dedicated to races and specific demographics. Gender is a sensitive social topic, but ultimately there will be spaces there as well. People might get offended at that, but the thing to learn from it is that "it's just not a space you'd want to be in" and move on. Yes, there's a discord only for female characters (or is it female players). But it's not even the weirdest one! There's a discord only for tall races, and if you take a photo of a non-tall character, it has to be accompanied by an Elezen, a male Au Ra, a female Viera, a Roe or a Hrothgar.

I'm not above agreeing with someone I don't normally agree with. I try my best to give credit where it is due and all. If I disagreed with everyone I've been at odds with at some point or another all the time then I'd have a terrible time around here.
